Not much to say, but much to do

That's pretty much it. Much is a wierd word.

But I Digress

First off, just like to say I love the phrase "but I digress". It completely defuses any situation!! Especially when you have to be a judgemental jerk to somebody; but then you conclude with "but I digress" and bam! all is well. Moving on; my school is awful. Moreover, the faculty is awful; the senior counselor has called me to her office four times about the same thing (about how I don't have enough credits to graduate; but then she figures out I do) and absolutely refuses to put me in Photography class. But I digress (see?). However, this week has been going well, Drama's good (teacher sucks, unfortunately), Choir is more beast than ever now that we have nine guys to rival the girls thirty-six, and I have gotten back into the habit of working out every day, pretty much. So yeah; it's all good. Just thought I'd let you all know. Incidentally, Tangled was amazing. Go watch it.

Woes of the Young

Usually you find older people griping about their problems and how much easier it would have been if they had just put forth the effort on day one rather than waiting until the last possible second. However, since I am considered by quite a few people to be young, I regardless find myself berating myself as these older individuals do. It is true that if I had put more effort into my school work as a freshman, I never would have taken summer school last year. It is true that if I hadn't quit working out after I was rejected from my high school's basketball team (which incidentally, lose by ninety points per game), I could very possibly be as ripped as my brother Nick is now. It is true that if I could just stop wasting my time snacking and just lying around, I might have actually finished a story of mine, or at least gone out and got a job.
Well, I feel better; although my failures do indeed depress me, I take comfort in the fact that they're only temporary. In fact, they're ALWAYS temporary. Not as of yet have I messed up so badly it changed the entire course of my future; at least, as far as I'm aware of. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to getting out of high school. I've never done well with people whose sole purpose in life is to make somebody else feel like crap; and teenagers are the masters of such practices.
Right; well, I must be off, for it is late where I am currently living, and I need my sleep -- driving to seminary drowsy is extremely dangerous for a mere mortal such as myself. So, with that being said, I conclude this epistle to the general public, or rather, those who are curious or bored enough to read what this poor, but brilliant boy has to say. Adieu.

My Fingers Hurt from Lack of Use

Seriously, they're cracking like crazy; it's been forever since I've been on here; not much has changed... I could only wonder as to why that is. Anyway; life's been good, I'm a shoe-in for my drama teacher's top drama class next year, and it's looking like I'll be the only bass in Golden Rhapsody (Rossview's 'elite' choir) next year, so I don't really know how that's going to be. So far being here, my dad's received his Master's degree, and I've gotten my Eagle, so we're just waiting for Nick to get his. I've met some pretty cool people, the top of that cool list being Eden, a girl I met at a combined stake activity; she's pretty cool. She likes and quotes Star Wars, The Princess Bride, Nacho Libre, Napolean Dynamite, etc., etc.
Anyway, my grades have (finally) been improving; I now have, for the first time since... 6th grade, I think?... Or possibly ever-- now have a 3.0 GPA; I know, it's awful.
All right; it's late, so I think I'll leave it here. See yas!

Oh, happy day!

I know this is late, but... I finally, finally, after mere days of agonizing anxiety, obtained a zoodora on Easter; it was a gift, and one that, for some strange reason, I like more than the video games I get for my birthday and Christmas and stuff. I'm serious, I'm like totally obsessed with this thing.

It's possible that Tolkien's stories are not a myth, and that the One Ring has reincarnated itself into a hat... Yes, yes, that was random, but it's not like you care; or is that I care? Anyway, here's some pics of my zoodora, and here's a background on the name zoodora; see, these hats I decided to call zoodoras are a kind of fedora (explaining the 'dora' suffix), not a Indiana Jones kind, but like a 50s swing-dancing kind (at least I think so), which is where the 'zoo' part comes from, which I derived from 'zoot', and there you go; the birth of the name zoodora.

I think I might submit it; but to whom? Howe (ha ha misspelled but it still works) in the world am I supposed to know that?! Oh well. Bye-Bye!

Heck hath no fury like Junior scorned (women are always angry anyway; see?)

Anyway, we played some mo' basketball on Wednesday, and we played five first-to-eleven-points-with-a-lead-of-two games, and it was me and Bros. T, Betenhausen, and Krevath against dad, Nick or Alex, since they switched out a lot, along with Brother Bass and some seventeen nonmember called Clayton.
Needless to say (what am I talking about?), my team won, mostly because, well, we had the two best players on our team (Bro. T and Krevath) and the players with the most hustle (meaning me and Bro. Bethenhausen). So, out of four of five games, I was given the task of guarding Nick; which only turned bad when he had to guard me. The last game, however, Brother T reassigned me to my dad, and here's the discussion, as best as I can recall:

Bro. T: Okay, Jeremy, you've got your dad.

Me: *weak chuckle* What?

So you know, I went over to guard my dad, him smiling the entire time; but like the Emperor, his overconfidence was his undoing. I blocked his shots more than once (though most of my blocks didn't fully work), once we got into the game, and though he completely shut me down on a shot I made, I think I gained some respect I had lost due to my performance. Nick, on the other hand, has his story of that night to tell... And now, I say, adieu.

LDS Basketball (you'd think we'd be more sensible...)

Here's the story; last Saturday, March 21, our stake held a basketball tournament at the stake center. Now, 3rd ward (OUR ward) thought that it was only the adult men who were playing, so the only people who came from our ward were Brothers Davis, Betenhausen, Tennyson, Krevath, and T, along with my dad and two younger guys who Brother T brought. Now, I went too, but only to watch; none of us had known that the youth were playing also. So, I was put on some miscellaneous (don't think I spelled that right) ward's team, and frankly; I sucked. Bad. Terrible. My father hid his face in shame the first five minutes of my first game when I crashed into one of my teammates, and when we had half-time, my father finally, finally; taught me how to play basketball. And after that, I beasted like crazy. I played center, but I also had to get to the other side of the court for the rebounds; had there been awards, I would have been given Best Hustle. According to my father, I played seventeen minutes straight in the second half (for we played in twenty minute halves) of the first game I played, and even more than that in our second game, since I played more in both. Somehow, I just kept going; nonetheless, I was always tired. I was rarely switched out of the game because the only other player on our team, a shortish guy called Matt, had an incessant need to double dribble, so yeah; even when I was switched out, I was usually back in two minutes later. But my dad's games were way better. Mostly because they could play waaay better, but mostly because of the yelling at the refs to my dad shouting, "Number 4 can't dribble! Get the ball!" and when the guy designated as Number 4 dribbled the ball out of bounds because Brother Betenhausen stood two feet in front of him, and that's all he did. Now, that was funny. But yeah, I'm still sore, and I hope it won't last for that long, cause we're playing basketball on Wednesday, and I really want to try out my new skizzles. Now, I usually wouldn't, well, "dote" upon myself and boast my own abilities, but nobody else will, and it was really cool. A'ight; peace out, me homes!

I actually have something of interest *sniff* Sorry, it just... doesn't happen very often. Sorry if I get all choked up - oh gosh! *sob*

Two days ago, on Sunday, my Sunday school class of 14 and 15 year olds had no teacher whatsoever; and we preferred to keep it that way. Using my deep voice, I talked as such for a while to ensure that any late passerby wouldn't suspect our current situation. However, Annalee Farley kept playing the piano that happens to be in our Sunday School room (mostly because it's two thirds of the Young Women's room, which is divided by those accordion thingies, (by the way; who designed those?) and she played a variety of songs, some church, some classical, some I've never heard of. After a while I decided to ask Annalee (who refuses to go by Anna; have no inkling whatsoever why) whether or not she could play "Love Is Spoken Here"; and it turns out, she could. So, to quickly recap, Me and Emma sang together first, then Patrick came in, then T'Neesha, then Matt, then two other girls who I don't know the names of, and that, I believe, was it (Nick refused to sing). As fate would have it, the bishop strolled by the room that same fine Sunday morning, and asked us all (Well, T'Neesha actually asked first) if we would sing that song for Sacrament meeting two weeks from now. I'm pretty much ready to go, but I'm not sure how many are ACTUALLY going to get up in the front of the rest of the ward and sing, when most of them are not inclined to do anyway or as randomly, unlike some other people (that would be me, sorry). But I tried. I had set dates for when we were going to practice, I had basically started it (well, okay, that's probably not ENTIRELY true), but yeah; It'll probably be me and Emma (...or maybe just me...) singing in front of everyone. I'm not saying that would be terrible, but it would be awesome if more the youth would come up and sing with us. Well anyway, it's time for dinner (at least at my house), so see you later! Happy St. Patrick's Day! Forever live the Green!
:D~

P.S. "...and now, a word from our sponsor... Kermit: it's not easy being Green.

P.P.S. Let the quote above be a soft encouragement to you who face people who are racist against the Green people. And now, adieu.

"16, 16 more minutes, gotta get it, GAME ON!"

I have just memorized every single HSM 3 song; I am awesome. See you later.

A sad thing

The Music Man, the play I was going to play a part in, was completely cancelled. Yeah, it sucks.

Sunday, January 25, 2009

Bless yore beautiful (say what?!) *resounding slap*

Anyway, I've been good. Church has somewhat mellowed out now. Rehearsals for Music Man are becoming more fun as we're learning how to act and stuff. Anyway, that's all for now. Bye Bye!

Update on my beloved pokemon

I am now only missing fourteen pokemon for my sinnoh pokedex; oh yeah. My ultimate pokemon team consists of these pokemon;

Blastoise lvl. 100 Attacks: Surf, Hydro Pump, Hydro Cannon, Earthquake

Blaziken lvl. 100 Attacks: Sky Uppercut, Fire Punch, Flamethrower, Poison Jab

Torterra lvl. 100 Attacks: Crunch, Frenzy Plant, Earthquake, Giga Drain

Dragonite* lvl. 100 Attacks: Fly, Dragon Claw, Dragon Rush, Outrage

Raichu lvl. 85 Attacks: Thunderbolt, Discharge, Iron Tail, Thunder

Weavile lvl. 73 Attacks: False Swipe, Avalanche, X-Scissor, Night Slash

*Dragonite's attack stat is 322

Yep, my poke team's beast; I, too, am awesome, for having trained them. Now I'm training Magmar to evolve to Magmortar; but I don't know how. He's already lvl. 74, so... It's starting to irritate me. I also have seven Porygon and eleven Eevee; well, five Eevee. Bye! Be jealous! The End

Digimon: Digital Monsters (Digimon are the champions!)

We got the movie from Netflix. It was amazing to see it again; I haven't seen it in over five years, and I can't believe they got completely rid of it, meaning it's not on TV or DVD. So, I went to Amazon. Now, here's an explanation of why I like a much-hated show: I used to watch it every Saturday morning; I used to play imaginary games, acting like I was a Digimon; I used to collect the cards (which really weren't that great) and trade them and everything, while the rest of you normal six, seven, and eight year old children watched Pokemon.
Anyway, I went to Amazon, and apparently they do have Digimon DVD's; the entire first and second season. It was crazy! And then... I looked at the price. Seventy dollars each; I know that's not really a lot, considering how everything costs today, but I can't pay for both of them without wasting most of my money; which my mom won't let me do. Unless, of course, if I could frickin' finish one of my stories. Well, maybe I can... Yeah, that's a good idea! All right, see you guys later! Bye!

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3000)

The show's hilarious; we watched the Martians Kidnap Santa Claus. It was hil-lar-i-ous! That's all for today, since I now have to beat up Nick because he made Rose cry (again). When will he ever learn?

I think I scared my church leaders

Why I say so is because, you know, I'm shy, don't say much, act really mature, all that; and then my church leaders decided to have us play volleyball. Now, though I don't really care about winning, I get really into the game and start to kick some major trash; unfortunately for everyone, they decided to not have any rules, so I would go up to the net, throw down the ball, and call it a point, except that we weren't playing for points.
The funny thing was that it was only guys playing, and only some of the young women came out to watch us; the others stayed in the hallway, though still watching. So, yeah, I'm running and yelling and overall having a good time, and then I realized that my church leaders, who were supervising the event, finally realized just how insane I was.
It has got to be weird to see a tall, mature, very good-looking young man with amazing blue eyes and lustrous brown hair finally just seem to snap and go crazy, yelling like a maniac and talking to himself (I didn't mean to; I was just too tired to think).
Well, that's all for, well, maybe today, and see you guys laters.

I got my permit, I got my permit

I - got - my - frickin' - PERMIT!!! YES!!!!!!!! After two failures, I finally got it; and now i'm never going to drive my mom's Suburban, like ever. I afraid of that dang thing. I like my dad's Corolla much, much better.

I wanna be the very best, that no one ever was

I have some major skillage; on my pearl version, you know, the pokemon game for the DS, I caught two legendary level 70 pokemon with a poke ball; a NORMAL one. Sure, I had to use, like, 80, before I caught either one, but still, it's quite a feat. Those of you who play pokemon will understand. I also have, like, five level 100's (Blastoise, Dragonite, Blaziken, Torterra, Greenshell (who's also a Torterra), and a level 64 Raichu. The two level 70 pokemon were Heatran and Giratina, and, though Heatran sucks, Giratina is a beast. It's attacks are beast, too, especially shadow force - now THAT'S an attack! And that's how I spent fall break - Non-stop playing of Pearl version; I wouldn't waste my time any other way.P.S. If anyone knows how to obtain Munchlax, please tell me.
